The 2013 FF3M Season will be the first season of the FF3M series since the series relaunch. The 2013 season will feature qualifying drivers from the four regional championships of the 2012 FF4M Season alongside two wildcards. The champion of the 2013 season will be guaranteed a drive in the 2014 FF2M Season.
To accompany the new format the following rules will apply on seasons end
The champion will be guaranteed to graduate to FF2M and will no longer be eligible for FF3M
The Top 5 drivers, excepting wildcards, in the championship will become eligible for FF2M
A minimum of the bottom 8 drivers in the championship, or any driver who fails to score a point, will drop out of the championship to be replaced by graduates from the previous season's FF4M series.
A 10 round calendar was announced with two races per race weekend. The series will race as a support series on the Friday and Saturday of 3 FF1M events, whilst also supporting the FF2M Standalone event at Paul Ricard. The calendar also includes 3 classic Formula 3 events in Pau, Zandvoort and Macau.
