The 2013 AFIA Indycar Series will be the first full season of the AFIA Indycar series.

Scott Dixon returns as the reigning champion but moves to MPR America, as Contingent O are not taking part in the season.

Rule Changes

  • 2013 will introduce tyre strategy to the series with teams having 8 sets of "Firestone Red" soft tires and 8 sets of "Firestone Black" hard tires and able to use 1 set for each of the 15 standard races of the season.
