Summary [ ]
The 2006-07 FF2M Asia Season is the third season of FF2M Asia and the first to be run to the GP2 Series rules and regulations.
Rule Changes [ ]
In addition to the new GP2 Series rules, in effort to promote motor racing in developing markets, each team is required to field at least one driver whose passport does not come from Western Europe or the traditional American Motorsport countries (United States, Brazil, Canada). For the avoidance of doubt, Turkey and Russia are not included in the list of "European" countries.

*Retired from the race but classified as more than 90% race distance had been covered.
**The initial results had Adrian Sutil finish 7th in the Singapore Feature Race with pole position which resulted in a tiebreaker between Danish Racing Team and STV Racing. Both teams won two feature races each, one sprint race each, and both scored one feature 2nd place each. Danish Racing Team eventually won the tiebreaker having scored four sprint 2nd places compared to STV Racing's one. However, an audit revealed that it was actually Mike Conway who took pole position and 7th in that race with Sutil finishing 10th, therefore, no tiebreaker was needed with STV retrospectively belatedly awarded the Teams Championship.
