The 2002 FF1M Season will be the fifteenth season of the Fantasy Formula 1 Management series. It will start in August 2010. It will be the first season of FF1M to be run without former Teams Champions Maestro Motorsport involved. It will also be the first season for new teams Andy Racing and Tornado Motorsport.
Rule Changes
Chassis and Suppliers
- Teams now all use standard chassis and suppliers.
Technologies
- Technology system overhauled. From now on Teams research technologies outside testing but can develop already learned technologies with testing.
- New Technologies added including "Own Car", "Young Driver Programme" and "Launch Control"
- Turbo Technology changed so that teams may use full turbo boost in Qualifying with no reliability penalty
Engines
Engines are now capped at 900BHP. This does not include the effects of Technologies such as F Duct, KERS and Turbo.
Testing
- Rookie drivers are scrapped. All test drivers now receive double DP as long as they are under 30 years of age and are yet to win a race.
- EXP added to driver performance after every test instead of at the end of the season.
