The 1998 FF1M-3000 Season was the 2nd Season of FF1M-3000 and the last under that name. The Drivers Championship was won by Jarno Trulli at the final race of the season beating Heinz Harald Frentzen who had led for most of the season. The Teams Championship was won by STV Racing. It ran alongside the 1998 FF1M Season.

Changes for 1998

For its second year, Outside teams were allowed to run cars for the first time and as a result almost half of the grid were new teams. The calendar was shortened considerabley aswell to allow the series to run on the Friday's of FF1M Race Weekend's.
